Why this program for weight management?
Being a medical doctor with an undergraduate degree in Human Nutrition, I have always placed a strong emphasis on healthy eating and regular exercise as the foundation for prevention of disease and increasing overall wellness.
Food choices play a huge role in our health. Obesity, diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, high cholesterol and depression have been linked to poor dietary choices and inflammation mediated by the foods we eat. I counsel patients on a daily basis to make dietary changes and implement exercise in order to improve their health, lose weight and feel better.
