Dr. Kusnetz

Personal History

Dr. Norma Kusnetz was born and raised just outside of Detroit, Michigan. She is one of five children, four of whom are physicians. Dr. Kusnetz earned a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, after which she went on to earn her Masters in Biology. She then attended Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, MI, where she earned her M.D. in 1991. She completed her residency in Family Practice at Providence Hospital in Southfield, MI and began her practice of medicine in 1994. Dr. Kusnetz moved to Winter Park, FL with her husband and children in the summer of 2003.

Professional Affiliations

Dr. Kusnetz is a diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine. She is also a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) as well as the Florida Academy of Family Physicians (FAFP). In addition, Dr. Kusnetz provides medical consultation to and is the Medical Director for the Winter Park Hernia Center and Winter Park Surgical Associates.
